Horses, Spirit and Play

For a unique experience at beautiful Sweet Prince Ranch (a scenic 1 hour’s drive from AmaTierra) join Equine professional psychotherapists Marsha & Mark Friedman for a profound 3 + hour in-depth session.

Trained professionals will bring you together with some very special horses for a fun, safe and powerful equine and human bonding experience.No previous horse training is required, most activities are done on the ground.

WHAT TO EXPECT IN YOUR EQUINE SESSION

IN THE FIRST CONNECTION...
You’ll tune into the wisdom of your body and hear it’s messages while standing alongside a horse that you choose or chooses you. By brushing, stroking, and breathing together, you’ll form a heart connection that  will inform, nourish and inspire you.

IN THE REFLECTIVE CIRCLE...

Join your chosen horse in the round pen, where you may be asked to...
1) set an intention to receive clarity on a personal issue, or
2) view the horse as a metaphor for how you engage with life, or
3) simply enter with an open heart, to whatever comes from your interaction with the horse.

The interactions that unfold often have a magical quality. Your horse might express himself with a spirited toss of his head, running with his tail up and then skidding to a stop right in front of you, rolling joyously in the sand, standing quietly next to you or following you around the pen. Whatever occurs, it is always a powerful learning experience.

Processing after each activity is important and will take place with Marsha and Mark to glean information and gain different perspectives.

Mounted or Unmounted Visualization

If you are comfortable sitting on a walking or standing horse, you will be lead in a small circle with your eyes closed (if comfortable), where you will be guided through a powerful visualization.  You can also choose to do the visualization unmounted, beside the horse, as you are still in the horse’s energy field.

Horse Painting or Vision Mandela Drawing (Group)

Your visualization will leave you with an inspiring vision for your future. To really highlight your new vision and install it into your heart and mind, we’ll use the creative activity of drawing or painting

If you choose Horse Painting, you will actually paint your vision right on the horse! Together you will create a beautiful moving scene that inspires your life journey. In a Vision Mandala Drawing, you will use pastel “crayons” to depict your vision on paper.

By actually creating your vision in a concrete manner, you will powerfully anchor it into your future.

Each session can be customized based on the participants' desired outcomes.   The activities are for people of all ages and all walks of life, including  personal development, corporate, and professional, The Friedmans are available to work with individuals, couples, families and groups.
