We're in the midst of "Veranillo" or "little summer" as it is called, when the afternoon rain showers cease -- so predictable that Costa Rican schools let the kids out for 2 weeks. Our farm crew is working hard to finish planting, cut back some of the growth and get some projects done while the sun shines.
