With the little bit of time we have to travel these days, Bob and I try to use it to visit special places to learn more about sustainable living and what's going on in Costa Rica.

This month's overnight stay led us to our friends at Luna Nueva, a sustainable farm with beautiful accommodations just off the road to Arenal Volcano.  Steven Farrell (in photo) manages the ginger and turmeric farm which serves New Chapter Herbs of Vermont, and his depth of knowledge of permaculture and preserving rainforest plants is simply amazing.
