The Organic Living Package begins at AmaTierra. Relax and renew your energy during your first 3 nights here, nestled on 8 luscious acres in the Costa Rican mountains, 1 hour west of the capital city of San Jose and 1 hour north of the Central Pacific Beaches. Offering yoga for all levels, massage and body treatments, herbal and nutritional counseling from AHG Herbalist and owner Jill Ruttenberg, and (edible!) lessons in the organic greenhouse.

Next you will head to Finca Luna Nueva Lodge. Finca Luna Nueva is an organic-biodynamic herbal estate and rainforest lodge that preserves natural resources while farming organic ginger, turmeric, and other tropical fruits and vegetables. The Lodge offers rustic yet luxurious rainforest lodge accommodations near Arenal Volcano, as well as educational experiences, designed to shape future generations.

Here you can hike with eco-guides and botanists through pristine rainforest where monkeys, sloths, and hundreds of species of birds and butterflies make their home. You will also learn about and view the working certified organic biodynamic herbal farm & estate. And of course, you will enjoy the natural Costa Rican cuisine – farm raised and chef prepared on-site.

At Finca Luna Nueva Lodge, the goal is to integrate local sustainable practices in agriculture, conservation, community, education and tourism in order to create a world-class experience for visitors.

You have the opportunity to add a seventh night at the fabulous Ark Herb Farm in Heredia - only 15 minutes from the airport. The owner runs a culinary herb business and has over 1000 species of rare plants on his facility.
