3 Night Wellness and Adventure Package

A perfect way to start or end your Costa Rican vacation for those with limited time. We guarantee you will leave feeling refreshed and relaxed.
What to expect from the 3-night package:
Day 1: Arrival. Guests are greeted with a fresh juice smoothie and have time to settle into their private casitas and explore the property. At 7:00, come to the dining room to enjoy a delicious, healthy family-style dinner cooked by our local chefs. Retire for the evening with a DVD of your choosing from our in-hotel library.
Day 2: Relaxation. First, enjoy a morning yoga class in
AmaTierra's inspiring new open-air studio, followed
by a healthy breakfast on the balcony overlooking the valley below. Later, take a refreshing swim in the pool and get back to nature by hiking to the stream and ocean viewpoint located on the property. Next, we provide a light lunch before your personalized massage. Now feeling completely relaxed, take a bath in the jacuzzi-tub in your casita. Again, dinner is at 7:00, and it promises to be just as yummy as the night before.

Day 3: Adventure. Wake up early and come to the dining room for breakfast. Next, head to Turubari Park, a local eco-adventure park, where you are given a guided tour, complete with explanations of Costa Rican plant and animal life and a fabulous typical Costa Rican lunch. After your tour, go on a horseback ride, or if you’re feeling really adventurous, try the zip-line course—a definite must-do in Costa Rica. Come back to AmaTierra and relax from your long day by the pool or in your casita. Before dinner (you guessed it--7:00!), enjoy another relaxing yoga class, or if you’re too tired from the day we will be happy to wait until the following morning before your departure. Check-out the next day anytime before noon.

Day Trips
And when you feel adventurous, choose between Turubari Tropical Park with its canopy tour, Carara Park with its Scarlet Macaws, and set off for a lovely day at the beach.
 Turubari Tropical Park: Tour this eco-park with aerial tram, nature reserve and butterfly garden with a professional English-speaking guide. Enjoy a "typical" Costa Rican buffet lunch and choose from 3 activities: flying over the canopy "zip line", horseback riding or the extreme "superman zip". (www.turubari.com)
Carara National Park Jungle Tour: Famous for scarlet macaws, an abundance of bird life, 3 kinds of monkeys, iguanas, colorful frogs and crocodiles, this tour, 1 hour's drive from AmaTierra, will spark your adventurer's spirit. (www.victourscr.com)
Beach
Day: Choose from Jaco Beach, a bustling area where you can have a surf lesson, shop, or relax, or a more secluded, quiet beach.
Optional Day Tours
Additional tours which can be arranged aside from your package are: a horseback ride with amazing views, a trip to nearby hotsprings or waterfall, or a snorkel cruise to Tortuga Island (cost of the cruise is not included)

Horseback Ride: Two-hour rides with fabulous mountain and ocean views; ride through a traditional "finca", see staple agricultural crops, Brahma cows and the green of the rainforest or ride/hike to a lovely waterfall close to AmaTierra.
*alternative, if you don't ride —able-bodied people can hike to the thermal hot springs near AmaTierra.
Snorkel Cruise: AmaTierra provides the transportation to Puntarenas, where Calypso Tours takes you on a comfortable cruise boat to Punta Coral Private Reserve and Tortuga Island. Tortuga Island is a tropical white-sand paradise, where you can explore the crystal blue reefs and get a closer look at the sea-life with fins and mask. (The cost of the cruise is not included)
