Surfing in Costa Rica

One of Costa Rica’s best known surfing beaches, Jacó, is just an hour and a half away from AmaTierra. This bustling surf town has one of the best breaks in the country. And you don’t have to be an experienced surfer to get into the action. Surfing lessons can be arranged for any experience level.

Jacó is big enough that you can get a bite to eat at a local restaurant and do a little shopping, but still small enough to enjoy the peaceful waves and watch the vibrant sunset over the ocean.
