At AmaTierra, your health is our #1 priority. We want to update you on what is happening here in Costa Rica:
1) There are currently 113 people who have tested positive for the virus. Only 2 have been hospitalized; others quarantining at home. There are NO cases so far in the province where AmaTierra is located.
2) The Costa Rican government has closed the borders and no international flights are arriving here until at least April 12th.
3) Costa Rica has plenty of test kits and has socialized medicine so all testing is free.
4) The U.N. has just praised the Costa Rican government and people for their quick and thorough response in helping to contain the virus.
While we remain calm and healthy here, we have decided to CLOSE AMATIERRA until April 12. We will be available online and you can communicate with us through this web site or by writing to email@example.com if you would like to make reservations for beyond that date CLICK HERE, and we know that when this pandemic has passed you and your families and friends will be looking to escape the stress, explore beautiful places in the world, such as Costa Rica. We will be here for you.
